Baby Faces

In 1981, I became a mother for the first time.  And after my daughter Victoria was born and I was “off work” , I had “some” time to draw and paint (not as much as you’d think – raising children really is full time work!)…  I drew these images from photos… My nephew John (second image) is two years older than my daughter Victoria (first image), but I drew them at the same time on the same onionskin paper I had from my father-in-law, and most likely a simple HB pencil.  I liked the feel of the paper, and had a stack of it then. I wish I had some now!
