Portrait commissions completed!

I can’t believe it’s taken me so long to finish three portraits.  I was off to a great start in February, and then March and April happened.  April 2015 – a month that will live in infamy (at least in our house!)  One thing after another, from a bathroom floor literally rotting out beneath us to a ridiculous series of medical issues including a record number of visits to emergency rooms in two months.  But all is well now, recovery is ongoing and I think (hope and pray) that we are out of the medical woods.

And I have finished the portraits of Danica and baby Noah.  Noah is done simply in charcoals (vine, compressed and pencil) instead of full colour, and perhaps when he is older we’ll talk about doing a full colour pastel portrait for him.
